Myth. Nothing Like It.

I started writing upper register exercises in the 1980s.  My reason?  I was sick and tired in reading how "difficult" high notes are to play and that only "a few" trumpet players who are "gifted" or "built to play" are capable of playing double high C and beyond.
People, it is so much bull.  Any trumpet player with a properly developed embouchure is capable of playing double high C and beyond.
Self-doubt is a powerful enemy when it comes to trumpet playing.  And so long as you remain convinced you cannot do it, you will not do it.   But remember this: self-doubt is by choice.  You choose to believe what you believe.  Therefore only you can choose to change what you believe.
   Think about it.
